Refunds Policy
This page covers refunds for the three ways of engaging me, described in full on theservices page. It does not override a signed engagement contract; where the two differ, the contract governs.
1. Systems review
The systems review fee is non-refundable once the written assessment has been delivered. Before delivery, if I am unable to complete the review, I refund it in full.
2. Fixed price project
Projects are billed 40% to start and the balance against agreed milestones. Refunds apply only to milestone payments for work not yet delivered — the start payment and any milestone payment for work already delivered are non-refundable. If a project is stopped at a phase boundary, you pay only for what is done and the remainder is refunded.
3. Monthly retainer
Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance and a billing month, once started, is non-refundable. Ending a retainer takes 30 days notice from either side; the notice period is billed as normal and no refund is due for it.
4. How to request a refund
Email chris@itllbefine.onlinewith the invoice or engagement it relates to. Refunds due under this policy are paid back to the original payment method within 14 days.
5. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date at the top. Terms already agreed in a signed engagement contract are not affected by a later change here.
